Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC)

The Student Wellness & Counseling Center (SWCC) offers a safe and comfortable environment for students to find support in addressing their concerns. SWCC staff are trained to assess, educate, and support students in a confidential manner to maintain and improve the students’ well-being by addressing a full range of topics, such as:

  • Personal growth, Health and nutrition, Smoking cessation, Relationships, Academic difficulties
  • Communication skills, Anxiety and depression, Homesickness, Conflict with family and friends
  • Alcohol and drug abuse, Eating disorders and body image, Trauma and abuse experiences
  • Suicidal thoughts, Academic standards, honor council, and code of conduct
  • Bias, discrimination, and harassment, Biofeedback and optimal sports performance
  • Mindfulness and meditation, Other topics of concern to students
